Plan1-GC:

• This plan has the same features as Plan1 and should be chosen if you are using a gift certificate for payment.
• It includes the setup of your templates plus a six month subscription fee. Near the end of the six month period, you will be notified of your option to renew your subscription. (See: Plan1-GC-SubscriptionRenewal.)

Why are there a different subscriptions (e.g. Plan1, Plan1-GC), depending on whether a gift certificate is used for payment?
     With Plan1, payment must be made by credit card. Annual subscription renewals can therefore be charged to that credit card, just like other recurring payments that you may have.
     Plan1-GC uses a gift certificate as the payment method and includes a six month subscription. There is therefore no credit card on file that can be charged for subscription renewal. (To renew, you can then use Plan1-GC-SubscriptionRenewal.)
